Russian Chamber of Commerce Members Suggest Establishing a National Cryptocurrency Bank Following Belarus’s Example

as reported by TASS, Evgeny Morozov, a member of the Russian Social Chamber, suggested following Belarus in establishing a national encrypted bank. He stated that this would help bring shadow settlements worth billions of rubles into the legal framework, increase federal budget revenues, and combat remote fraud and criminal financing. At the same time, the encrypted bank could provide compliant channels for Russian miners to sell their mining income.
