Kakao's Kaia and LINE NEXT announce Project Unify

 Kaia under Kakao and LINE NEXT announced the launch of Project Unify, a stablecoin application embedded in LINE Messenger. The application will be launched in beta later this year, providing payment, remittance, and yield services, and can access over 100 decentralized applications (dApps). The plan also includes support for regional stablecoins from Japanese yen, Korean won to peso, Thai baht, etc., but promotion still faces challenges under the regulatory uncertainty in Seoul.
